Q: What do Baptists believe?
A: Core beliefs:
The Bible is God's written word to people. As such, it is perfect.
There is only one living and true God that represents the Trinity: God the Father (creator, all powerful, all loving, all wise); God the Son (Jesus, God in human form, born of a virgin, died for our sins, and was raised from the dead); and God the Holy Spirit (convicts us of our need to have Christ and points us to right from wrong).
People need Jesus Christ because He is the only way to reach God.
When Jesus saves us, we are always saved. God never takes this gift away from us.
God gives us the church as a means for fellowship, reaching others with the good news of Jesus, and to help those who have physical and spiritual needs.
Q: How can I become a Christian?
A: Follow these simple steps:
Everyone has sinned. You must recognize that you are a sinner. (Romans 3:23)
We should be punished by death for our sin, but we don't have to be because God gave us Jesus. (Romans 6:23)
Jesus died to pay for our sins and take our punishment. (Romans 5:8)
You must realize that Jesus is Lord.
You must believe that God raised Jesus from the dead.
You must ask Jesus to save you. (Romans 10:9-10, 13)
Q: How can I join your church?
A: You can join our church in one of the following ways:
Become a Christian by accepting Jesus as your Savior and follow His leadership in believer's baptism.
Confirm that you have already become a Christian and transfer your membership from another church of like-faith.
